Why learn English?

We often are concerned about HOW we learn English, but isn't it the time to ask ourselves, WHY we learn it, and FOR WHAT. There is no doubt that motivation is part and parcel of any success. So really, why do we learn the English language?

The reasons for doing it can be numerous: necessity, free will, somebody's advice, sometimes we learn it just in case, "perhaps some day I'll need it". And in other situations we do it to wake our brains up. But no matter what motive it is, just learning as a hobbie or a way to succeed in your career, there should be some motivation, a good reason, that drives you through all difficulties and makes it possible to enjoy the results. So right now take you time and think about it, give your mind some food for thought.

Here is a short list why I learn English, and if one of the motives is close to you - it is great! Then we have found each other!

Нас часто заботит то, КАК мы учим английский, но разве не время спросить себя о том, ПОЧЕМУ мы учим его и ЗАЧЕМ. Нет сомнений, что мотивация это неотъемлемая часть любого успеха. Итак, все-таки зачем мы учим английский язык?

Причины делать это могут быть многочисленными: необходимость, свободная воля, чей-то совет, иногда мы учим его на всякий случай, "возможно, понадобится когда-нибудь". А в других ситуациях мы делаем это, чтобы размять мозги. Но неважно какой мотив бы не был, изучение как хобби или способ быть успешным в своей карьере, должна быть какая-нибудь мотивация, хорошая причина, которая бы помогала справиться с трудностями и делала возможным получение удовольствия от результатов. Поэтому прямо сейчас уделите этой мысли достаточно времени и подумайте об этом, дайте немного себе пищи для размышления.

Вот короткий список причин, по которым я изучаю английский, и если один из мотивов близок вам - это здорово! Значит мы нашли друг друга!

I study English 15 years because I like it.
And 2 year ago I start to work at foreign company, now every day minimum 6 hours I must speak English.

That is wonderful! I guess you know many words, don't you? And what about grammar? What do you think about it?

When I must speak fast sometimes I do not think about it) It is not good but it is a fact...

It is really great that you acknowledge the necessity to speak correctly) anyway, how did you study English and how do you do it now? I am just curious

Now, I specifically does not learn a language because I have not enough time. But daily communication on English is constantly developing it.

Where do you work? Whome do you deal with? I mean people from what countries?

It was a very good idea!
I work at Arneg Group (Italian concern). Every day I or speak with people from Italy, Brazil, the United States ... we have 17 plants around the world.

Great! And in what area do you work? I mean what do your plants produce?

Our factory produce industrial refrigeration cabinets. Our largest customers in Russia - Pyaterochka, Crossroads, Miratorg, Ashan. Every time then you purchase products at these stores from large refrigeration cabinets, remember me - I calculated all its parts and its production time))))
